This was my very first wine and food tour and honestly, I think I’ve been spoiled for life. The Queenstown Wine & Food Tour: Scenery, Tastings & Delicious Lunch was everything I hoped for and more – from start to finish, it was absolutely perfect.
The scenery alone is worth the trip – breathtaking views of the Central Otago region at every turn. But then you add in world-class wine tastings, delicious local cuisine, and a guide who was both knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the area… it truly elevated the whole experience.
Every stop was thoughtfully curated and offered something unique – whether it was a bold Pinot Noir, a crisp Riesling, or a standout dish made with seasonal ingredients. I also loved the relaxed pace and how well the group dynamic was managed – it never felt rushed or crowded.
I’m already planning my next wine tour because of this one – it’s safe to say the bar has been set very high. Highly recommend to anyone, whether you're a wine lover or just looking for a fun and flavourful day out in Queenstown!

The Original Queenstown Wine Tour
We had an absolute blast! Our guide T was super well informed and armed with a wicked sense of humour that really helped make the day enjoyable. Each of the wineries we visited had their own unique style of talking us through each of the wines and I feel we came away with a decent knowledge and of the winery histories and the wine itself. The lunch we had at Kinross was delicious and was a great way to break up all the wine being tasted. The tour was well paced and gave enough time to enjoy each location without dragging. I would 100% book in and do the tour again if I’m back in Queenstown again.

Queenstown wine & food tour
We requested a private full day tour, and the communication from the outset to agree the itinerary was very efficient. The resulting schedule was very well balanced, and Andrew was a very informative and personable driver/guide. We started with a longer stop at Felton Road, which before the tasting included some time seeing the vineyards, the production area, barrel room and the cellar with the older library stock. Next was Misha’s vineyard where we also bought a lovely sharing platter for a light lunch. Then Te Kano, which was normally closed on this day, but were happy to welcome us as Andrew had booked. Then onto Kinross before a final stop at Chard Farm, with its excitingly steep sided access road. All five of the wineries had something interesting to offer, and we were well hosted on each visit. The scenery was also stunning and Andrew stopped at several points for us to take photos, before delivering us back to our hotel via a different and scenic route. In summary, this was an excellent day and we’d highly recommend this company.
